Meet Rob

As a member of the Princeton Club of Chicago, for over a decade Robert J. Khoury has organized intern luncheons for Princeton students eager to find opportunities in Chicago. He has hired interns over the years and has a passion for ensuring their success.

Rob, in addition to being an author, is the co-founder and CEO of Agile Rainmakers, a high-impact business development consulting and advisory firm based in Chicago’s Gold Coast. His 20+year career in the financial industry has seen him in many roles: an equity derivatives trader, portfolio manager, corporate strategist, chief operating officer, recruiter, hedge fund executive and private equity investor.

Rob earned a BSE in Electrical Engineering at Princeton University in and his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He takes great pleasure in supporting college students and recent graduates in making career and life choices that support the fulfillment of their life’s goals.

“When interns work together as a team supporting each other and learning from each other, they produce extraordinary results for themselves, their manager, and clients. In designing an internship, the key is to think about what will empower the interns most. I have found there is no substitute for true teamwork.”

— Robert J. Khoury

A note from the Author's desk:

I work with extraordinary business leaders and interns ready to do the disciplined thinking and work it takes to develop real mastery. This is as much art as it is science.

I may come across as a down-to-earth numbers dude, but I’m all about:

movement…

making things happen…

producing unpredictably awesome results.

In my work, I may not seem to take myself too seriously, but in my book series on internships, I share some serious work techniques and approaches that are highly effective.

From my many years hosting interns, I can assist you in bringing clarity and power to your experience as an intern, intern manager, intern mentor, or parent of an intern. This results in the most fantastic intern-focused programs for all involved.

How does that sound?

“It is amazing to see how much good work these interns complete over the summer.”

— Internship Client

What People Are Saying

“Agile Rainmakers, led by its CEO Rob Khoury, stays true to its mission and vision every single day, and over the two years I have worked with Rob and the various intern teams, that has never changed. I’ve learned it is no small feat to run a company that way. The diligence to produce quality, value driven work every day for our clients is never lost.”

— Jake Nitzsche, 3-Time Agile Rainmakers Intern

“All tasks were completed on time and all team members were extremely professional in all forms of communication. We enjoyed working primarily with a smaller team and hearing each individual provide their update.”

— Diana Greenberg, Enduralock

“I see him as a leader—a human being who is invested in the success of others 100 percent of the time, every time. I see peace and organization and drive within the employees because of Rob’s services.

Rob remains an inspiration for me, and I’d love to model myself as a leader like him.”
